Cornish Families is a family business based in Camborne and run by Julie Stoddern and her partner Phil and son Nathan. At present we organise host families for foreign students to stay when they are on holiday over here in Cornwall, UK.
 
The students travel in a group with their teachers and drivers, we find host family accommodation for them all. All families on my list have been Police checked and I have been working with them for years, new families being used are also screened and vetted. I am now looking to expand my business to include students from all categories and youth groups i.e. Brownies, Girl Guides, Scouts, Cubs and school parties etc. We can organise educational trips to learn about the Cornish heritage including fun trips to explore our beautiful country side.
 
The groups will go out on organised trips during the day with a packed lunch provided by their host family. They will be met after there day’s activities by their host families who will provide an evening meal and bed and breakfast, for the return journey have a handmade Cornish pasty lunch can be provided. We provide this service all year round and welcome school trips and groups even around Christmas. The Christmas lights at Mousehole are lovely to see at this time of the year.

Also we can accommodate individuals that are looking for work experience or English language teaching. You may be looking to find a host family in Falmouth because you are going to attend art school there!

On your return home we will provide you with a Cornish pasty which is a meal in it self...
